How to become a Poet

If you find happiness, take it

If you don't, you might become a poet

If you become a poet enough,

You might unlock a hidden secret

You may stumble on a superpower

The secret to substantiate the insubstantial,

To look at the shadows and know there is a light somewhere,

To see the light and know it was darkness,

To patiently look inwards and uncover a thousand shades of the human condition,

And accept it with humility,

Then boldly unfurl a blank scroll

And with an unalloyed feather

Paint a shade or a thousand.
