Eat an Elephant, I Will

Eat an Elephant, I Will

If I do not die tonight
I shall be stronger in the morrow

I shall rise
And melt a mountain
In the naked
Of my palms
I shall hold my new wife
And make my son a song

If I do not die tonight
I shall fly with the eagles
Shine with the eastern sun
And yet thread lands
That seems distant tonight

If I do not die tonight
I shall be wiser in the morrow
I shall mend my dreams and bones
Even with my sweat
I will know smiles
In simple tokens I will know smiles

If I so not die
I will eat an elephant
I shall rise, talk and walk
Even in the shadows of stains
I will write
By daylight
I will write.
